Aarow undertook a comprehensive project involving the installation of an advanced fire alarm system at two 220,000 SQ.FT. Data Centers located in Chantilly, VA. This multifaceted endeavor was executed in 10 sequential phases. The scope of this project entailed the fire alarm build-out of the data halls and their support spaces, including DAHU galleries and electric rooms. The project included the integration of new initiating and notification devices into an existing Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), as well as the conversion of the existing dry systems safeguarding the building's shell spaces into single interlock pre-action systems. The equipment installed encompassed modular fire alarm panels, annunciators, heat detectors, smoke detectors, manual pull stations, monitoring and relay modules, intelligent control point modules, fire alarm notification devices, NAC extender panels, VESDA detectors, VESDA power supplies, and a VESDA network with a high-level interface.
